The Monday Night Wars: Round 2
TNA made a bold move when they decided to bring in Hogan and Bischoff…it showed they wanted to make huge moves and wanted to gain more of an audience with these huge names. Then they decided they would take the fight directly to WWE by offering an alternative to Monday Night RAW. Yes, it was a bold move. However, it was not the smartest thing they could have done in the course of things this year so far. Granted, their numbers have not been superb since switching back to Thursday night either. They simply do not have the financial ability to keep up with Vince McMahon and his juggernaut company. As a fan, I want TNA to succeed but they are making things very hard for loyal fans; much less the casual viewer. In short, the second round of the “Monday Night Wars” was very lack0-luster and a huge mistake to say the least. Better luck next time guys.
